What needed to change
Busy check-in desks need a quick way to record arrivals, recognize repeated scans and handle people who need manual entry.
What I built
The original scanner project contains scan-to-attendance logic, station handling, an offline queue and spreadsheet synchronization. This isolated version demonstrates sample code entry, duplicate detection and fictional walk-in registration without those live connections.
What changed
Enter DEMO-001, then enter it again: the attendee is checked in once and the repeated scan is rejected. You can add a fictional walk-in and inspect the attendee list. Refreshing resets all changes.
